That Boy Could Dance

from Under The Influences by Insane Ian

about

From the "Weird Al" tribute album "26 and a Half" comes my cover of the classic Al track 'That Boy Could Dance", which was the b-side to his first huge hit, "Eat It". I wanted to update the track for the modern era, so I did it as a Lady GaGa pastiche. Little did I know, Al himself would parody Lady GaGa directly a short time later, releasing his "Perform this Way" single a few weeks after I recorded this cover for the project. Great minds, eh?
